*Salary Range:* 600,000- 700,000 (Net)

*Role Overview:*

The Managing Director will be responsible for providing strategic direction and operational leadership. The role is pivotal in driving sustainable business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting financial inclusion while managing day-to-day activities of the bank.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1.Provide strategic leadership by developing and executing the bank’s vision and long-term strategic plans.

2.Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient utilization of human, financial, and technological resources.

3.Ensure strong financial performance through effective budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management.

4.Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks to safeguard the bank’s assets and brand.

5.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, regulators, investors, and the community.

6.Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve operational and business targets.

7.Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, legal, and internal policy requirements.

8.Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities to drive innovation and competitiveness.

*Requirements:*

1.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or a related field with necessary Microfinance Certifications.

2.Minimum of 10 years experience in the microfinance banking sector, with at least 5 years in a senior executive or leadership role.

3.Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and strategic planning in a regulated financial environment.

4.Proven track record of driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

5.Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities, particularly under pressure.

6.In-depth knowledge of microfinance regulations, credit risk management, and customer relationship management.
