Position Title: Demand Planner

Role Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled Demand Planner to forecast customer demand and support effective production and inventory planning. The role involves analyzing sales trends, developing accurate forecast models, and working closely with sales, marketing, finance, and logistics teams to ensure well-aligned and data-driven demand plans.

Key responsibilities :

Forecasts customers demand and ensure that the company can meet its production and inventory needs.
Support annual business planning/monthly forecasting process by driving monthly volume and value forecasting.
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data and develop statistical forecast models as well as forecast result evaluation.
Coordinate cross functional research activities to reconcile significant variance and refine forecast models to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
Regular reporting to the stakeholders and executive management of the demand plans and KPIs.
Interact with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
Utilize collaborative and consensus approach by working with sales, marketing, finance, and logistics to ensure updated information is used for demand planning.
Constantly engage stakeholders to ensure alignment in lead times, inventory days, liquidation plans, and inventory ageing.

Minimum Requirement
First Degree or its equivalent in relevant discipline.
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in demand planning/forecasting/supply chain operation planning role in a manufacturing or FMCG
Sound/advance knowledge of Microsoft excels to analyze the demand planning and forecasting.
