Job brief:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Logistics Officer to manage and oversee the supply chain operations within the health sector. The role involves coordinating the procurement, storage, and distribution of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare equipment to ensure timely and accurate delivery to designated facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, coordinate, and monitor the transportation and distribution of medical supplies and equipment.
* Ensure proper inventory management, including stock control, storage, and timely replenishment of health commodities.
* Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and healthcare facilities to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
* Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including procurement, delivery schedules, and inventory reports.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements for storage and transportation of pharmaceuticals and medical products.
* Manage logistics staff, drivers, and warehouse operations to ensure efficiency.
* Address and resolve logistical issues, delays, or emergencies that may arise.

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehousing, and distribution processes.
* Familiarity with regulatory standards and requirements for handling medical and pharmaceutical products.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software/ERP systems.
