Job Title: Head of Finance
Salary: 800k - 1.2M gross
Location: IKEJA

The Head of Finance, reporting to the CFO, is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance, driving profitability, and supporting strategic growth.

The role involves financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, investment analysis, risk management, and working capital management. The Head of Finance also contributes to long-term planning, evaluates business opportunities (including M&A), and ensures financial integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and manage accurate financial reports and statements.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
2. Monitor performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
3. Manage working capital, cash flow, and financial risks.
4. Support strategic initiatives with financial insights.
5. Oversee investment evaluations and business opportunities.
6. Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Lead and develop a multicultural finance team.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting; MBA required.
• Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA).
• 10+ years in senior finance roles (retail, banking, FMCG/manufacturing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of tax, risk management, treasury, and IFRS.
• Proven leadership and decision-making ability.

2. Accuracy of forecasts and timeliness of reports.
3. Cost efficiency and cash flow management.
4. Compliance and risk control.
5. Team performance and contribution to strategic goals.
